firstly i will say that i am a tranny and proud of it and i really don’t mind other people calling me that way unless it has a prejudice tone about it. i do go out a lot in public and meet and socialise with many folk, straight and LGBT, and i really only object to be being called a man…
so, why am i saying this? well, i feel that i am experienced enough to say that i have felt very intimidated by those who write to me telling me what tags i should use..much of it is aggressive and nasty and feels far far worse to me than anything i have experienced whilst out in public..
i am careful what tags i use going back to the original source wherever possible and try to get it right, also in different languages..
so to all those english speaking folk out there who would rather fight within the trans scene about labels instead of putting yourself out there in public with all other folk and flying the flag that way, please stop intimidating me..
eradicating labels from the english language will not eradicate prejudice, only decency and mutual respect will…
ps. i have never met a person who identified themselves as “cis”.. so why do others believe they can impose such a term on folk who most probably have not even heard such a term let alone identify themselves as such?
you, political correctness is is...pitting one side against another
